Custom and Unique Wedding Favor Ideas

Wedding Favors Can Be Custom Made

In addition to using initials or monograms to personalize wedding favors, which we discuss below, there are other ways to have custom made favors.

The bride and groom, with the help of their attendants, creativity and time, can make favors themselves. See our article on Inexpensive Wedding Favors for some ideas. Alternatively, consider buying small art objects made by a local artisan. For example, how about a ceramic napkin ring, a small cake or other wedding symbol in blown glass, a small ceramic dish or a lace bookmarker, etc.

Using Initials or Monograms for your Wedding Favors

Another alternative to a hand made or art object favor would be putting the new family monogram or the first names of the bride and groom on each favor. Just like with customizing your cake topper with initials, you can have the same effect with your favors. Depending on the favors that you select, you can recreate the same letter script you use for your invitations, ceremony programs, toppers and even aisle runners. Click on the MyWeddingFavors or HansonEllis ads (at right) for many styles of favors that can be personalized. A personalized or inscribed favor will be both custom and unique.
